I tend to forget that I have this thing when I keep myself busy.
Reading and writing have consumed my life lately.
I'm revisiting classic literature with some Wilde, Fitzgerald, and Carrol... as well as the new sensation Pride and Prejudice and Zombies that's pretty much just Jane Austen's P&P with some re-writing to include a zombie plague and some ass-kicking. Let me just state that I've never been more interested in Jane Austen.
Writing wise... it's just been a lot of character studies type of things. Making a character and putting them in situations, nothing horribly cohesive.
At least it's enough to make me feel somewhat creative again.
Work is crazy. As usual. New co-workers, old co-workers getting fired, etc, etc.
The past few days have been pretty amazing. Between seeing Forgive Durden twice (words can't express how much I love them) and my only gripe was not being satisfied with the female singer on the tour (I'm pickier with my female voices, and she wasn't awful, she just didn't fit the sound).
Shows are coming to Michigan. Lots of them. And quite a few make me very happy!
Life is good.
